EFFORT IS A CHOICE

I get it.


We live in a current climate of hyper-stimulation and constant mini-dopamine hits.


Everything we need is now just a few clicks away and we don’t just have easy access to information, we have a ‘information overload’.


Attention spans are shorter, ADHD rates have exploded (let’s not get started on mine…) and we expect immediate replies and connection to people when needed.


So, there’s an excuse or two to not be particularly ‘present’ at times or fully immersed in any given task.


But is that the reason you aren’t making progress in the gym?


Are you playing music in your headphones and being distracted by the ping of an email or a WhatsApp?


Are you ‘quickly’ calling someone back in between sets?


Are you revisiting and trying to implement helpful training clips you’ve seen from your favourite fitness industry personalities on IG, only to get caught down the rabbit hole of mindless scrolling?


Are you spending more time filming, editing, and looking at your own training clips than you are training?


Have you ‘truly’ given your best efforts to your session?


Remember, your time is precious, so use it wisely… “don’t be disappointed with the results you didn’t get, from the work you didn’t do...”
